It's fairly certain that I'm nowhere near important enough to warrant a bio page, but when you write things, submit said things and someone is kind enough to actually publish those things, well, they usually ask for a writer's bio of some sort. So with that in mind...

Erik Smetana's father was reared near an Arkansas watermelon patch, his mother on the outskirts of Motown. Examples of Erik’s work can be found in some form or fashion at Birmingham Arts Journal, 52nd City, Boston Literary Magazine, Thieves Jargon, Monkeybicycle, Annalemma, and PANK among others. Erik resides just outside St. Louis (where he was born and raised), with his wife and a dog named Sam.
