The Post In Which I Apologize

For being a slacker. To those I owe critiques, or those that have agreed to critique something for me, and those who have emailed me and received no response, and to the stories lingering on my thumb drive half finished waiting for me to close them out (at least the first drafts), and to my languishing novel for which I am constantly scribbling notes and ideas and yet accumulating no real word count as of late, also the stack of essays/papers/student related whatnot taking up too much space in my messenger bag, and last to John Jacobs to whom I owe a really cool Firecracker Press print that has been sitting on my kitchen table for the last month-and-a-half waiting for me to go to the post office or UPS store -- I hope to get to all of you in some form or fashion by the end of the week.

Erik, take it easy buddy. You only need to apologize when you've done something wrong. Believe me, I know, I'm always apologizing.

You gotta take care of yourself first. Then take care of your novel, then worry about all that other stuff.
