Write-A-Thon (Day Two, Part One)

While I realize I've labeled this post Part One, I'm not about to make any promises that there will be a Part Two, but there might be. There probably will be. Or I could just be leading you along and in the end turn out to be a liar. Fun, no?

So, onto the update! I'm at a deceiving 1,300 words, which is only 300 more than I claimed last night, and this is after working on said story for roughly more 5 hours since that post went live. So now you're outraged, lighting torches, and calling for my head because I've only managed 300 words, but wait, here's the deal. I've been note taking, plotting, trying to figure out where in the hell this story is going so that 1,300 can morph in 3,000 (though I suspect when all is said and done this story may not wish to be confined by the label of short story, but again, no promises). I'll update later after some more writing (this afternoon and later tonight). Or maybe I won't. You'll just have to stay tuned (or subscribe to my RSS feed).
