Write-A-Thon (Day Two, Part Two)
I did it! A follow up post!Okay, I'll keep it short and get to the details. I've cobbled together a piece of flash fiction that is a loose interpretation of the prompt for this year's Write-A-Thon, and made more headway with the piece I started on day one and plan to continue adding to until my time runs out. So total word count after eight hours is 2,200 words (give or take). Eight more hours to go over the next two days (squeezed in around my family's Christmas celebration, being hosted by me and my wife, and a holiday show at The Fabulous Fox).
And lastly, I'll make the same offer here that I made to everyone I know (and then some) in a recent email update -- if you let me know you've donated (shoot me an email at erik AT eriksmetana.com), I'll let you choose from one of the following, major awards:
- your name (either last or first) in one of the stories
- you can choose an odd, completely random word that I will incorporate into one of the stories
Plus, as an extra special bonus: I'll give you a shout out in one of my future Write-A-Thon updates on this here blog you're reading right now!
