998 words. A lot of them crap, but words none the less. That said, it's short of the daily goal -- the elusive 1,667 words per day -- the magic number that guarantees one hits the fifty-thousand mark. Which means I need to find an extra 669 words to add on top of today's goal. Wish me luck.
