2,136 words. I almost managed to make up for yesterday's oh-so-short word count, I came within 200 words. That's like a cheeseburger without cheese -- tasty, but wrong. So, the skinny of it all is that I need to reach 1,867 words today to reach even (and knock out some extra words between now and the close of Sunday because next week brings the arrival of Baby Smetana).
